The Middle School Volleyball games on Thursday, September 16th have moved to Gettysburg to start at 5:15 PM. We will play a 6th, 7th, and 8th grade game. GO THUNDER!!

Recap of Thunder activities from this past weekend: Friday night ended in a loss for both the middle school and HS football teams against Warner.
Cross County traveled to Ipswich Saturday. Boys Junior High- Aaron Ingerson 4th & Avery Wells 25th; Boys Varsity- Gabe Johnson 11th. Junior High Girls- Ella Batie 13th & Becca Batie 20th. Girls Varsity- Anna Batie 18th.
At the girl’s volleyball tournament in Mobridge the Thunder ended the tournament with a win against McIntosh, and a loss to Ipswich and Timberlake.

Message from Warner on their Track. For those of you attending the football game on Friday in Warner, please be aware ONLY PLAYERS and TEAM PERSONNEL will be permitted across the track and onto the field. All spectators, photographers, cheerleaders, and casual fans will need to remain outside of the track area as we are in the midst of application of the new rubber surface and have to limit foot traffic. Please help us get the word and thanks for your cooperation!

The Middle School Football Jamboree scheduled for Warner on Saturday, September 11th has been cancelled. The 7th/8th grade football team will play at Warner on Friday, September 10th at 5:00 PM before the varsity football game.

Good luck to the North Central football team as they take on the Waverly South Shore Coyotes. Game time 7 pm.
The girls volleyball team traveled to Faulkton last evening. Varsity lost 25-8, 25-8, 25-15 and JV lost in 3 25-19, 12-25, 10-15.
No school Monday, September 6th due to the Labor Day holiday.

The Cross Country Meet held in Redfield tomorrow has been cancelled.

The Biology II students are currently studying body planes and body regions. The students "dissected" gummy bears into the transverse, midsagittal, and frontal planes.





The 9th gr. have been working on scientific notation & conversions of measurements. They used their skills to convert measurements that were in sci. notation to standard notation & then converted between units to arrive at correct amounts for an individual serving of fudge.

High School meeting day is scheduled for tomorrow, September 3rd during 4th hour. The following groups will meet: 10:39 – 10:49 – FCA in High School Social Studies Room; 10:49 – 10:59 – NHS in FACS Room; 10:59 – 11:09 – FCCLA in FACS Room
& 11:09 – 11:29 – Class Meetings to prep for floats in homerooms.
There are several students who have not returned their signed senior class trip permission form. Please return those to the office by tomorrow.

Today the 2nd grade students learned how to jump off of one leg and land on the other! It was a tough activity, but all of them did awesome!




The Cross Country Invite in Redfield for tomorrow, September 2nd has been postponed until Friday, September 3rd.
