The volleyball games scheduled in Wakpala for tomorrow, October 12th have been moved to Tuesday, October 17th due to them not having enough healthy players tomorrow. The JV game will start at 6:30 followed by the varsity game. Go Thunder

The Northwestern Music Festival, where a lot of the 6th - 8th graders are at today, will be live-streaming the concert this evening starting at 7:00 PM. The North Central Thunder girls volleyball team will take on the Herreid-Selby Area Wolverines in Eureka on Thursday, October 5th for Dig Pink night! Join the Thunder volleyball team in raising money for metastatic breast cancer research. Wear pink and come cheer on the Thunder! Kindergarten had a great day celebrating Johnny Appleseed Day! We celebrated by learning about the life cycle of apple trees, finding the missing part to the apple patterns and best of all making our own homemade applesauce!

Good afternoon. Today at around 11:30 AM we received a phone call from the McPherson County Sherriff's Office to put the school in a soft lockdown. Around 1:00 PM we were advised that we could lift the soft lockdown. At no point was anyone in the school in danger, we just wanted to make everyone aware of the situation. Thank you.

Good morning. The Cross Country Meet in Hoven for today has been cancelled due to air quality. We will plan for cross country practice in Bowdle after school but we will also be monitoring air quality throughout the day in case that should not happen.

Due to the weather, the youth and middle school football games scheduled for tonight in Bowdle have been cancelled. We will still have 6th-12th grade practice in Bowdle after school.
