The North Central Thunder fall sports will be entering post-season play starting this week. The North Central Thunder football team is entering play-offs on Thursday, October 21, 2021. This is the first football season together as the North Central Thunder. We have been very proud of them and have enjoyed watching them come together as a team. The football team went 3-6 in the regular season and will take on #3 Wall Thursday in the first round of play-offs. The game time will be at 6:30 PM in Wall, SD. Good luck Thunder!
The North Central volleyball team will be finishing up their regular season in the next couple of weeks. This week they take on the McIntosh Tigers on Tuesday, October 19 in McIntosh and then next week they will take on the Northwestern Wildcats at Mellette on Monday, October 25. Currently, their record is 5-17 and will be fighting for a home court advantage for the first round of regional play. Good luck to our lady Thunder!
The North Central cross country team had their regional meet on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. The girls team finished 4th in the region. Grace Roth finished 16th, Kassandra Abbas finished 18th, Kennadi Aman finished 21st, Ella Batie 29th, and Anna Batie 35th. In the boys varsity, Gabe Johnson finished 17th. Grace, Kassandra, and Gabe qualified for state and will be competing on Saturday, October 23 in Yankton! Good luck to all of you!
