If you have been to the Eureka School website recently, you have probably noticed a new looking website. The Eureka School has partnered with a company called Apptegy for this new website. In addition to the new website, the Eureka School District also has it's own application for smart phone users. The application is titled Eureka 44-1 and has a picture of a Trojan Head along with the Thunder Logo. We are strongly encouraging everyone with a smart phone to download the application.
The technology provided to the Eureka School from Apptegy will replace the School Reach Messenger system that has been used for the past several years. With the new technology, the school will be able to send voicemails, text messages, push notifications, and e-mails. If you want to receive the push notifications on your phone, you need to allow the application to allow push notifications. You should be asked this question when going into the application for the very first time.
Other information that you will be able to see on the application include a LiveFeed section of things that are going on around school, events, athletics, staff, lunch menu's, and other documents that you can find online.
We at the Eureka School District are excited about the new website and application. As with anything, we are sure there will be some minor issues to work out, but we expect this to be a great tool to use for communication with all of our patrons.
If you have any questions please contact the school at 284-2875.
