The Eureka All-School Reunion was held in Eureka over the 4th of July weekend. With the addition of the "new" high school in 2016, the school tours held on Saturday, July 3rd had around 300 visitors to tour the school to relive old memories while enjoying the new building. In addition to the school tours, there was a 9-hole golf tournament held at the Eureka Municipal Golf Course. There were 97 golfers who participated in the golf tournament. At 2:30 PM there was a parade that was filled with many former classes bringing floats. The High School Marching Band filled the air with music including the school song "The Notre Dame Victory March", and there was even a full-sized wooden Trojan Horse. The evening of July 3rd culminated with a welcome program at the Eureka Ballpark. Multiple former Eureka coaches and administrators spoke at this program. The speakers included Dr. Sherlock Herning, Randy Hermanson, Bob Billotto, Bo Beck, and Jim Haar. This was followed with live music and it was a day for all to remember.
On Sunday, July 4th, there were many activities going on at the Eureka Ballpark. These activities including a dunk tank, inflatables, water wars, karaoke, and vendors. The celebration on the 4th finished with the fireworks around the lake.
We hope that everyone re-lived old memories while creating new ones. It was a great weekend and we look forward to the next Eureka All-School Reunion.
