Eureka School Homecoming Week will be held September 9th through the 13th.
The theme this year is "Candy"
Homecoming week will start off Monday the 9th. Dress up day will be Country vs Country Club. Coronation will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday. Following Coronation, the Girls Volleyball team will take off to McLaughlin where they will take on the Mustangs. 6th/7th grade play at 5:00 PM, 8th Grade 5:45 PM; JV 6:30 PM; Varsity 7:45 PM. The Middle school and JV boys football team will play Ipswich in Eureka. Middle school boys play at 4:00 PM followed by JV at 5:00 PM.
Tuesday will kick off with 80s, 90s, and Neon Day. The Thunder girls volleyball team will have a home game in Eureka facing the Mobridge Tigers. Game play will start at 4:00 PM with the 6th and 8th grade playing at the same time (side courts). The 7th Grade and C team will follow at approximately 5:15 PM. The JV will play on the main court at 6:30 PM followed by the varsity at 7:45 PM.
Wednesday dress up day will be Pajama Day! The Cross Country team will head out to Hoven for their competition starting at 1:00 PM.
Thursday will be dress up as Twins or your Mother, Father, or teacher Day. The Thunder girls volleyball team will be on the road again to Aberdeen to take on Aberdeen Christian. The middle school girls will start things out at 5:15 PM. JV will follow at 6;30 PM and then varsity at 7::45 PM.
Friday is Homecoming and Thunder Pride Day! Grades 7-12 will build their floats in the morning. The homecoming parade will begin at 1:00 PM. A pep rally will follow in the School gym at approximately 1:45 PM. Students will be dismissed following the pep rally. Punt, Pass, and Kick will be held at the football field starting at 2:45 PM. Then our North Central Thunder football team will take on the Leola-Frederick Titans. The middle school game will start at 5:00 PM and our varsity team will start at 7:00 PM.
